I like the 3 but to me it looks like they just deleted the grill. I like that they didn’t include one just to have it, but I feel like it’s missing something. How about an aero piece? (wing?). O and a wagon body

It looks to me like they had planned on putting a grille (or some sort of prominent badge) on the front until well after the shape of the plastic bumper cover had been signed off, and deleted it in the 11th hour. If they hadn’t intended to do one at all from the very start, they probably would have done a much smoother and better integrated shape.

It could also be a compromise choice between two factions in Tesla’s styling department, one that wanted a grille/badge, one that didn’t, and they settled on not doing one but creating a character line to suggest where one “should” be.
